DATE: Nov 19, 09

Sunday, November 29 is Community Sunday, Mingei International’s family program that features the DISCOVER MINGEI! Participants receive a printed treasure guide, leading to locations throughout the Museum where they’ll find pictures of Fuego, the program’s carved wooden coyote mascot from Oaxaca, Mexico. At each stop they answer a question about an object on exhibition. Prizes are given for completing the treasure hunt.

A special family-rate admission of $5 for families and $3 for individuals is offered on Community Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. along with the exhibition-related treasure hunt. Treasure guides in both Spanish and English can be downloaded from the Museum’s website, www.mingei.org.
