Continue your exploration of Pacific Standard Time on this trip to Pomona and Claremont. At the American Museum of Ceramic Art, enjoy a docent-led tour of Common Ground: Ceramics in Southern California 1945 -1975, featuring studio and industrial ceramics by Laura Andreson, Rupert Deese, Otto and Vivika Heino, Martha Longenecker, Harrison McIntosh, Beatrice Wood, and more than forty other artists. View Clay’s Tectonic Shift: John Mason, Ken Price and Peter Voulkos, 1956-1968 at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery, then experience James Turrell’s skyspace, Dividing the Light, at sunset, when light of changing hues illuminates its canopy.
