BEYOND DRACULA – Romanian History, Art and Lore

There is much more to Romania than a fictional Count with fangs.  In conjunction with the exhibition BETWEEN EAST AND WEST – Folk Art Treasures of Romania, Dr. Kiki Skagen Munshi, a San Diego native, local art dealer and former Director of the American Library in Bucharest, will set the stage for Mingei International’s exhibition, providing an overview of Romanian history, society and its difficult position on the edge of Eastern Europe.
