Presented in collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico, San Diego.

Immerse yourself in the history and experience of tequila! Accompanying the exhibition VIVA MEXICO – Heroes and Artisans and featuring the Museum’s complementary exhibition of Tequila Bottles — From the Collection of El Agave, accomplished writer, professor, narrator and literary critic Gonzalo Celorio will present a thorough overview of the rich history and complex culture of tequila. Reception follows in the Roger C. Cornell Rotunda with live mariachi, refreshments and tequila tasting.

The lecture will be presented in Spanish with English translation. Advance reservations required.
