From the west entrance to Balboa Park at Laurel Street and Sixth Avenue: East of Sixth Avenue, Laurel Street becomes El Prado. Continue on El Prado across the bridge and through the arches toward the fountain. Turn right at the stop sign facing the fountain. Museum entrance is on your right in the House of Charm. From the entrance to Balboa Park at Park Boulevard and Presidents Way: Turn right into Balboa Park at Presidents Way. Continue to the stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign. Continue past the Organ Pavilion, down the mall and around the fountain. Just ahead the Museum entrance is on your right in the House of Charm. By city bus: Take the #7 from Broadway/ Downtown and ride directly to Presidents Way in Balboa Park. By the free Balboa Park Tram: Tram goes between Park Blvd. at Presidents Way (Inspiration Point parking lot), crosses Balboa Park via Plaza de Panama, continuing across Cabrillo Bridge to Sixth Avenue. Plaza de Panama in front of the Museum (limited/handicapped)
Alcazar lot behind the Museum (limited) - Follow street south from Museum entrance; make first right turn
Behind Organ Pavilion - Follow street south from the Museum entrance past the Organ Pavilion; turn left into lot.
