SELF-GUIDED TOURS
Enjoy a self-paced tour of Mingei International's stunning exhibitions of folk art, craft and design. Informative bilingual handouts on current exhibitions are available at the admissions desk and elsewhere at both Museums. View an exhibition-related video, complimentary with admission, to enhance your visitor experience.

DOCENT TOURS - Balboa Park
Enjoy an impromptu Museum tour by a trained volunteer. Docent tours are available, without prior scheduling, Tuesday through Sunday from 1 - 3 pm. Allow 45 minutes to one hour for your tour. On the third Tuesday of each month (a complimentary admission day), docents are available to answer questions and conduct brief tours during regular Museum hours, 10 am - 4 pm. Docent tours are complimentary with admission.

GUIDED GROUP TOURS - Balboa Park and Escondido
Mingei International Museum welcomes groups of all ages, backgrounds and interests. Tour the exhibitions on your own or schedule a docent tour. The Museum offers a one-hour guided tour that includes an overview of Museum history and an interpretation of exhibitions. Guided tours can be adapted to the age and interests of your group. Guided group tours of up to 40 visitors are complimentary with admission and must be scheduled in advance.
